Visiting San Marino for the MotoGP & wanted a nice hotel with a pool. This place fit the bill. It's on 'hotel row' along the beach if the Adriatic Sea. Room was vey small but well layed out and very upscale, and all have great water views. Staff extremely friendly & helpful. Best buffet breakfast I've ever had (included) with a wide variety of unique foods. Cheeses, sliced sausages to order, pastries, salmon, poached eggs & assorted juices and Cappucino made to order. Heated seawater pool was excellent, gorgeous spa onsite. Private beachfront with rentable cabanas steps away. Lots of restaurants and a great walkway with gorgeous views. We will definitely stay at The Atlantic again!
If you are looking for good food and a distinct place in Riccione, this is THE PLACE to go. The Green Restaurant IS OUTSTANDING and you will not get deceived. The service was excellent, personalized, tidy and without any pressure! Upon our arrival, the manager Antonio, let us know he was ‘waiting for us’ and brought us to a cozy window table. The elegant ambiance with live orchids and live piano makes it a special place. Now, we ordered the local Sangiovese wine bottle, very distinct. The antipasto buffet is irresistible and delicious. The food menu is very suggestive with many delicious options. WE HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS RESTAURANT. Im sure the manager-Antonio - and his team will do their best so you’ll have an unforgettable experience like we did!!!
We enjoyed every moment at Atlantic and Riccione. This hotel definitely has class, style and special gentle atmosphere.
Hotel has unbeatable location with excellent cleanliness.
The staff was absolutely wonderful starting from Franco and Sandro at reception desk, they welcomed us after a long trip from New York. Our room had a small balcony with a nice view. We were very pleased with our breakfast and dinners at the beautiful and elegant restaurants. Antonio Temperini - restaurant maître d and Mauro Mennillo the most friendly and well mannered professionals. After almost two weeks, we regretted having to leave this place. The combination of history, hospitality, excellent food and efficiency would be hard to forget!
“Perfect vacation spot in Italy”
We are coming to Europe for a beach vacation every year and been in most places in France, Spain and Italy. Hotel Atlantic in Riccione is now one of our favorite places. It’s perfectly located, had excellent SPA and pool with sea water. What make it one of our favorite places are two things:
Food is so good that we have only one concern how to hold ourselves from overeating. Chef in the Restaurant is exceptional. Not only food is excellent, but presentation is outstanding.
Metrodotel in the Restaurant speaks several languages and perfect English. He is very friendly and courteous and was giving well advises on what to order and sometimes even making for us special orders. Waiters are very professional. They are not running around, but they are always at hand when you need them.
Staff at the reception is also very polite and trying to help. I had to run a video conference call back with US, so even WiFi in the hotel is good, I was afraid that because I need audio and video capability the regular WiFi in the room would not be enough. I asked for help and was given a special private conference room with landline connection to the network that provides much better bandwidth.
I am traveling a lot on business in US and stayed in Ritz Carlton and W, and honestly I was surprised that in a small vacation spot in Italy, I would be able to find stand alone (not a corporate chain) hotel that is providing the same level of professionalism with some personal touch, as a well established corporate giants that spend huge amount of money on training of their personnel.
Kudos to the General Manager of this hotel, who was able to build such a good hotel that treats you as a royalty and leaving you with a wish to come back again next time!
“Unexpected quality and attention to detail in a hotel restaurant”
Was staying at Hotel Atlantic during a trade show in the off season and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel's "Green" restaurant. Super-high quality ingredients (rich, sweet REAL aged balsamic presented for the salad, for example, and where did they find such bright tasting tomatoes in January??) - fish cooked perfectly, local shrimp sweet as candy, even a wonderful house red - a local (sort of) Sangiovese made by the owner. Plus vegan and vegetarian options! I found myself returning over and over again and was not disappointed in any instance
